Buddhist Talks

Conference Room

1:30pm, 2:30pm (Saturday)
10:00am, 11:00am, 1:00pm, 2:00pm (Sunday)

The founder of Buddhism, Sakyamuni Buddha, was born into the human world. He cultivated his spiritual development, attained enlightenment, and shared his profound realisations throughout the course of his life as a human being.

Why did the Buddha attain complete enlightenment as a human? There can only be one reason; the Buddha wanted the teachings of Buddhism to be relevant to the human world. The Buddha's very life as a human being is to model the spiritual path and how to make our own lives a spiritual practice.

The festival is offering various talks to share how the practice of Humanistic Buddhism can be integrated into all aspects of our daily lives.
